Description:
I am reluctantly offering my 1979 MGB for sale. Mechanical: Car is very solid and I regularly drive it to Connecticut, the Hudson Valley, Long Island, and even out to Cape Cod. Car has good tires, brakes, cooling, etc. Weber carb. Car is a little fussy on cold starts and has excess play in the differential. Good steering, runs 65-70 on the highway with no issues. Doesn't overheat. New battery, alternator, starter, various other odds and ends. Cosmetic: Looks great! Definitely not perfect but good older respray in blue, interior is a little worn. Good top. Needs new weathersealing gaskets. Gets lots of attention! Car is titled, registered, and insured in New York City. Currently garaged in Kent, Connecticut.
